Iordanis Psimmenos is Professor of Sociology of Work and of Migration at the Department of Sociology, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. He has been the Director at the Centre of Social Morphology and of Social Policy (2011-2014). He studied Sociology and Social Policy at the Universities of Newcastle upon Tyne (BA Hons) and Durham (PhD). His latest publications include: “Unveiling Domestic Work in Times of Crisis” (Guest Editor, Journal of Modern Greek Studies, Johns Hopkins University, 2017), and the edited volume To Metanasteftiko Ergatiko Dynamiko (The Migrant Labour Force, Papazisis, 2021). He is the Editor-In-Chief of Sociology and Work and Social Inequalities in Contemporary Greece research monograph series (Papazissis and Alexandreia Publications).
